That is what was called out on vent last night as we were preparing to pull heroic Professor Putricide. A Death Knight who is to remain nameless was a bit too close as he summoned his Army of the Dead at the start of the fight. So the preparation was over and we sprung into action. As chaos ensued there was one voice of reason. Fatherfreddy er I mean Saintkorgoth says.... "Its ok guys, whenever this happens we kill the boss". We all had a good laugh at that. But would it be a joke? Or would it be a foretelling of the truth? It turns out that after our first flawless attempt making it to phase 3, it turned out the latter would be the truth. Somehow all of our ranged dps and healers were dead and it was all of the melee and tanks that had to finish him off. Either way it was a kill and found ourselves staring at Heroic Lich King.

It's been a while since this news post has been updated. Arthas has been long dead, and most of the heroic bosses in ICC have also fallen at one point or another (total score = 9/12. PP/Sind/Arthas to go)

In our struggle to get by the last few hurdles before we reach the Lich King on heroic mode, we thought we'd take the time and show you just exactly =what= kind of mischief Driven to Conquer has been up to.

So raid tonight started out as bad as it possibly could. Tank deaths, Ice Spheres, Defiles, Val'kyr deaths, etc. You name it we died to it. We couldn't even get the Lich King to 60% for the first hour and a half. So after regaining our composure (and bashing my head into my desk to dull the pain), making a few changes and getting back to it we were once again progressing.Then suddenly we were in the transition to phase 3. Oh shit, we hadnt seen that all night. WTF DO WE DO NOW!!!!! We kill him of course. From complete anguish of a night of failure, to a night of triumph. The Lich King has been defeated by <Driven To Conquer>, and with that comes hard mode ICC beginning Tuesday.



Oh yeah, after that we figured why not get a second title for everyone in raid. So we went over to Ulduar and decided to try Algalon. Took a few attempts but we got him too. OMG OLD CONTENT! It was fun and its a title so STFU!

Yeah I havent posted anything between putricide and now. But everything else is dead.



We now stand before the lich king himself.

Its been a while since we had anything really newsworthy to post. But tonight we downed Puticide after an 80k wipe last night and severalsub 5% wipes the week before.
